Easy oat cookies

If you don’t have brown sugar at hand, you can use white sugar. This will be perfectly fine and your cookies will be very tasty. However, if you have brown sugar it is definitely a good idea to use it. It adds flavor on top of sweetness, making your easy oat cookies much more enjoyable.

Feel free to replace the raisins with your topping of choice! Of course, chocolate chips or bits work wonderfully, but nuts, dried fruit, or cocoa bits are also great options. And if you simply don’t have something at hand, the cookies are also delicious without any topping.

Make sure to take the cookies out of the oven right after the time is over: don’t let them sit inside the oven for longer than needed. And don’t worry if the cookies are very soft when you take them out. They will continue to harden on their own for a few minutes outside the oven 🙂
