Broccolini gnocchi with peas

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb. gnocchi
  • ½ lb. broccolini
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche
  • ½ tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ lemon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pine nuts toasted, for garnishing
  • Salt & pepper

Method
 

  1. Cut the broccolini into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a small cup, mix the crème fraiche, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice.
  3. Put salted water to boil in a pot. Add the broccolini and let it cook for 1 minute, then add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the surface (or check the package instructions). Drain and set aside.
  4. Heat the olive oil in a large pan set to medium-high heat. Toss in the broccolini, gnocchi, and frozen peas. Cook for 1 minute, then mix in the sauce and adjust the seasoning. Garnish with pine nuts and lemon zest. Done!

Notes

  • It is a simple recipe but it goes fast when cooking, so prepare accordingly.
