In a medium sized pot, put water to boil. Once it is boiling, add the mezzelune and cook according to the instructions in the package (typically around 5 minutes).
Heat up 2 tbsp of butter and 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large pan and add the forest mushroom mix.
Cook the mushrooms for around 5 minutes until they become slightly brown.
Drain the mezzelune when they are ready. Then, add the garlic and 1 more tbsp of butter to the mushrooms, cook for 30 seconds.
Add the mezzelune and parmesan cheese, and toss to coat everything nicely. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately and garnish with fresh parsley and more parmesan cheese if you wish.
